ACE Parking launches fifth year for PARK FOR PINK campaign—and adds TEAL.
On September 1st, 2018, we will be kicking off our award-winning PARK FOR PINK campaign for its fifth consecutive year of raising awareness and generating funds to aid in the fight against cancer.
This year, in addition to turning pink for breast cancer awareness, ACE will also be turning teal as we partner with the Ovarian Cancer Coalition and the Ovarian Cancer Alliance in cities nationwide. Since September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, we will be extending PARK FOR PINK to run throughout the months of September and October. During these months, each time a customer parks with ACE a portion of our parking proceeds will be donated to the fight against ovarian cancer.
ACE is proud of our efforts to support cancer awareness and research. Over the past four years, the PARK FOR PINK program has raised over $250,000 to benefit organizations such as the Susan G. Komen® Foundation for breast cancer research, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to cure blood cancers, and the American Cancer Society to help patients and their families, as well as directly to hospital oncology departments and to the purchase of robotic surgical equipment.
“PARK FOR PINK was inspired by my own family’s fight against cancer, as well as the struggle of many others in our ACE Parking family,” said third generation Owner & Managing Partner, Keith B. Jones. “Because so many are directly or indirectly impacted by cancer, I am privileged to utilize ACE Parking as a platform to support those who are suffering, those who treat and support cancer patients, and those who are working to find the cures.”
Keep an eye out for ACE team members wearing pink and teal PARK FOR PINK bracelets during September and October in honor of the campaign, as well as the traditional pink ACE Parking lot signs throughout the month of October!
